DSK-ASPHALT WITH SURFACE TREATMENT

DJI_0225.jpg

Economical road surface rehabilitation without cracking with DSK asphalt layers, BiKaFlex-Sami and OB

Two well-known methods are combined here - the DSK (thin asphalt surface layer in cold construction) with a surface treatment (OB). While the DSK is able to level the surface and seal the subsurface, it has the disadvantage of a lack of elasticity. This in turn comes with the OB, which in turn lacks the properties of the DSK. While with a DSK a thin layer of asphalt is applied cold, with an OB the surface is sprayed with a binding agent and then sprinkled with an aggregate. If you now combine these two methods, it is almost the same as a new surface layer that levels the surface, creates a new roughness, can absorb cracks coming from below, i.e. absorbs movements in the material and is therefore much more stress-resistant overall.
