ESTOL® Contact Adhesive D
Paste-like mass for pre-treatment of seams and renovation of joints
ESTOL Contact Adhesive is a thick coating used to bond all connection seams in asphalt pavement and landfill construction. It also has excellent wet resistance. Contact Adhesive D is ideally used with our Rapid device, as this achieves optimal results and therefore high daily outputs. This creates water-impermeable and stress-bridging connections between old and new base courses. These connections prevent the penetration of water and other harmful substances and help to effectively absorb and distribute stresses. This impermeability to water is confirmed by the test certificate issued by IFM-Rottweil.
ESTOL® Contact Adhesive N
Liquid component for pre-treatment of seams and repair of joints
ESTOL Contact Adhesive N is a thin coating used to bond all connection seams in asphalt pavement and landfill construction. It is also relatively low in viscosity, allowing it to penetrate easily into the pores at edges and interfaces. This creates water-impermeable and stress-bridging connections between old and new base courses. These connections prevent the penetration of water and other harmful substances and help to effectively absorb and distribute stresses.
ESTOL® Seam Adhesive
Solvent-free, paste-like mass for pre-treatment of seams and renovation of joints
ESTOL Seam Adhesive is solvent-free and is used where installation is carried out “hot to cold” and permanent bonding is required. When applying the hot mix, it is first loosely piled up at the edge. The heat of the mixture ultimately activates the ESTOL Seam Adhesive and the material can penetrate into the cavities of the uncompacted asphalt pavement at the seam. The rolling process greatly reduces the cavities. ESTOL Seam Adhesive is distributed in a limited space at the seam – part of it is visible on the surface of the ceiling. This deliberate excess of binding agent ensures good, permanent bonding of the seam and thus determines the excellent properties of ESTOL Seam Adhesive. This method is used both in road construction and for sealing landfills to prevent water penetration and protect the structure.
ESTOL® joint tape
Solid mass for pre-treatment of seams and renovation of joints
ESTOL Joint Tape has plastoelastic properties and good adhesive properties, which largely correspond to those of hot-pour compounds for road and sewer construction. ESTOL Joint Tape is stable and dimensionally stable in its packaging to enable convenient and problem-free handling at all installation temperatures. It is also resistant to traffic and weather influences. The bituminous base material used corresponds in its expansion and adhesive properties, in particular through the addition of elastomers, to our joint and sleeve sealing compounds, which we have developed thanks to decades of experience. ESTOL Joint Tape is used to merge asphalt pavements in vertical connection areas, especially in road structures and for sealing concrete folded pipes. It meets the requirements of ZTV Fug-StB01. In road construction, the joint tape is used to seal edge and working joints. It ensures a permanent seal between mastic asphalt or rolled asphalt and concrete pavements on roads and bridges. It also guarantees reliable sealing of asphalt strips against each other, e.g. between hard shoulders and lanes, and ensures perfect seam closure at repair and break-up points. In sewer and civil engineering, the joint tape is used for sealing concrete folded pipes in round and egg shapes. It is also suitable for sealing shaft rings and precast concrete parts.
ESTOL® Cold Grouting:
Elastic binding agent for sealing joints
ESTOL Cold Grouting, as the name suggests, is processed cold and is also suitable for concrete joints, although technical advice is required for this. It is suitable for sealing joints in asphalt surfaces and renovating cracks from approx. 5mm or joints up to approx. 15mm in width. It is a highly elastic binding agent and is therefore ideal for expansion joints that are constantly in motion due to heat. ESTOL Cold Grouting is installed flush with the floor. This prevents smooth bitumen strips from forming on the road surface.
ESTOL® Joint Sealing Compound E N1
ESTOL Joint Sealing compound E N1 is suitable for filling joints up to 25mm in width on all concrete and asphalt traffic areas. It is also suitable for sealing horizontal and slightly sloping joints and for repairing asphalt pavements. False joints on concrete roadways and transition structures in civil engineering can also be formed with this material. Joint sealing compound E N1 is a highly elastic hot-pour compound.

ESTOL Joint Sealing Compound is suitable for sealing horizontal and slightly sloping joints and for repairing asphalt pavements.
