ESTOL C50BP1-S must be thoroughly stirred before each use. If the emulsion is not homogeneous (for example, if bitumen lumps or threads appear), the material must no longer be used. When processing ESTOL-C50BP1-S mechanically, the conditions specified by the equipment manufacturer must be observed. The equipment used must be suitable for processing ESTOL C50BP1-S bitumen emulsions in accordance with TL BE-StB 07. The heating process must be slow and gentle. The temperature of 70 °C must not be exceeded under any circumstances, as this could cause the product to separate or decompose. This would render the material unusable. ESTOL-C50BP1-S is distributed over the surface, e.g. by spraying it on with suitable equipment. After drying, which can be recognized by the color change from brown to black, the surface can be covered with hot mix.
