Emulsions

ESTOL C50BP1-S must be thoroughly stirred before each use. If the emulsion is not homogeneous (e.g., if bitumen lumps or threads are visible), the material must not be used. When processing ESTOL-C50BP1-S by machine, the conditions specified by the device manufacturer must be observed. The equipment used must be suitable for processing ESTOL C50BP1-S bitumen emulsions in accordance with TL BE-StB 07. The heating process must be carried out slowly and gently. §§§The temperature must not exceed 70°C under any circumstances, as this could cause separation or decomposition of the product.§§§ §§§This would render the material unusable.§§§ ESTOL-C50BP1-S is distributed on the surface, e.g. by spraying with suitable equipment. After drying, which can be recognized by the color change from brown to black, the surface can be covered with hot mix.
